Q: What grade did you just complete?

A: I just completed 12th grade at Emmaus High School.

Q: What was your favorite subject? Why?

A: My favorite subject was English because I like reading and writing. It is a fun way to express myself.

Q: Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A: I have received awards for field hockey and lacrosse and then honor roll awards.

Q: Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?

Q: What grade are you in?

A: I just completed my senior year at Emmaus High School.

Q: What is your favorite subject? Why?

A: My favorite subject is history. I love understanding how the past influences the world today. I also love talking about history and explaining it to other people.

Q: Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A: I received two state finalist awards for National History Day, for my individual documentaries on the history of the submarine and also the 1919 Treaty of Versailles.

Western Salisbury Elementary School holds a closing ceremony around the flag, held by teacher Kristy Wied, on the last day of school. Principal Grace Hartman recapped the accomplishments during the school year and wished everyone a great summer. Students also sang the "Leadership In Me" song in reference to the seven habits learned all year. The students also sang the newly written WSE school song written by the fifth grade gifted class assisted by Stan Griffis.

As a final gesture pointing toward the next school year, Harry S Truman Elementary School Principal Barbara Samide, on the last day of school, unveils the design of the T-shirt for the 2013-2014 academic year. Designed by student Melinda Koutch, the T-shirt theme celebrates the leadership qualities the school strives to develop in its students.
