Public drunkenness
Timothy Wenner, 32, of Emmaus, was arrested for public drunkenness 3 a.m. April 8 following an alleged disturbance at his residence.
Vandalism
Reported on South Keystone Street April 8, an unknown actor punctured a vehicle tire valued at $100.
Simple assault
Stephen Seip, 30, of Emmaus, was charged with simple assault and harassment following an alleged domestic disturbance.
Burglary
Reported in the 1300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, the owner came home to find someone had entered the residence. Nothing was reported missing.

Controlled
substance
Timothy R. Mutcher, 19, of Pottstown, and a 15-year-old male, no address given, were stopped for an alleged traffic violation at Cedar Crest Boulevard and Little Lehigh Drive, Emmaus borough, 10:35 p.m. April 25. Subsequent investigation revealed Mutcher and a passenger allegedly possessed suspected marijuana, suspected hallucinogenic mushrooms, and associated paraphernalia. Charges are pending.

The Salisbury Township Police Department, in cooperation with the security department were dispatched to 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd. for a suspicious person in parking lot K 8:15 p.m. April 14.
Upon checking the lot for the reported actor, a suspicious bag was found between two vehicles inside the parking lot.
Contractor charged with fraud

Home improvement contractor Kevin W. Drake, 55, of 3048 Sequoia Drive, Macungie, has been charged with six counts of theft by deception and six counts of home improvement fraud after he was arrested by Upper Macungie police April 5, for allegedly not doing work for which he was paid.
According to police, they received a complaint from a township resident regarding Drake, whom he hired to finish his basement.
The homeowner said he provided advanced payment to Drake, and the work allegedly was never completed.

Retail theft
A white male was observed by loss prevention leaving Walmart, 1091 Millcreek Road, Lower Macungie Township 4:31 p.m. March 13 with merchandise he had not paid for. The accused placed various items of merchandise into a shopping cart and subsequently left the store without paying for the merchandise. The investigation continues.
A 15-year-old female attempted to leave Walmart, 1091 Millcreek Road, Lower Macungie Township, without paying for clothing, makeup and jewelry 4:36 p.m. April 7.

DUI
Shane O'Connor, 22, of Pt. Pleasant, N.J., was taken into custody for DUI on Interstate 78 westbound, Salisbury Township, 3:59 a.m. April 4. O'Connor was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol.
Judd Schneider, 51, of Slatington, was allegedly under the influence of alcohol during a crash occurring in the 4900 block of Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, 10:14 p.m. April 4. Schneider's vehicle struck a tree on the side of the road. He was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital for medical treatment.

Stolen firearm
An employee at Impress Industries, 726 Broad St., reported a Keltec .380 calibur handgun was stolen from his locked vehicle while at work March 15. The firearm has been entered as stolen and the investigation continues.
Stolen laptop
An employee at Impress Industries, 726 Broad St., reported an ACER laptop valued at $600 was stolen from an office March 20.
DUI
Jose Nazario Mendez, 30, of Allentown, has been charged with alleged DUI after a traffic stop March 22.

DUI
Shawnquan Davis, 21, of Charlotte, N.C., was arrested for DUI on Interstate 78 westbound at mile marker 61, Upper Saucon Township, 1:16 p.m. March 26. Davis was allegedly under the influence of a controlled substance. Terry Lewis, 22, of Charleston, W.Va., was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with paraphernalia as a result of this traffic stop.
