Millie F. Evert, 83, of Macungie, formerly of Slatington, died June 22, 2013, in the home of her daughter, Sheila. She was the wife of Earl J. Evert, of Slatington. They celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary this past February. Born in Slatington, she was the daughter of the late Francis W. and Agnes (Roberts) Zellner.
She worked in the finishing department for Robbie Sue for 15 years before retiring. Prior to that she was employed at Hess Brothers department store's administration office in Allentown.
The Reverend Doctor Leon A. Phillips Jr., 76, of Hampshire House, Allentown, died June 19, 2013. He was the husband of Marion (Overcash) Phillips, to whom he was married for 54 years. Born in Hazleton, he was a son of the late Leon A. Sr., and Irene (Shuler) Phillips.
He was a member and the appointed pastor of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Allentown.
Yvonne G. (Tyson) Strycula, 61, of Macungie, died June 15, 2013, in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center after a long illness. She was the wife of Jim Strycula. Born in King of Prussia, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Arlene Tyson.
She was a member of Faith Evangelical Free Church, Allentown. She enjoyed singing as a hobby and sang in many church choirs. She loved Faith church and looked forward to Bible studies with members of Front Line. She was a member of the choir and involved in many Bible studies.
Barry Thomasik, 46, of Emmaus, died June 17, 2013. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Judith A. (Roberts) Thomasik of Allentown and stepfather, Clifford R. Edwards.
He worked in the accounting department for Omnicare and was a bartender at The Colonial House in Catasauqua.
He was a member of the Catholic War Vets in Emmaus.
He is survived by his mother; brother, Stanley II; sister, Debra Kish; nieces, Ashley Reiss and Nicole Kish; nephews, Jeffrey Reiss Jr. and Jayden Reiss.

Kenneth M. Baab, 63, of Wescos-ville, died peacefully at his home June 10, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Jeanne L. (Colbourne) Baab. They were married for 40 years last August. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Kenneth A. Baab and Helen (Miller) Baab.
He graduated with a bachelor of arts degree from Muhlenberg College in 1971, followed by a master's of arts in health care administration from George Washington University.
Anna Mae Shick, 85, of Salisbury Township, died June 13, 2013, in her home. She was the wife of the late Howard R. Shick, who died June 11, 2011. Born in Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Wilson A. and Bertha (Backus) Bartholomew.
She was a graduate of Allentown High School, class of 1946, and a graduate of Joyce Art Studio.
She was a self-employed beautician.
She was a member of Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Allentown.
Shirley A. Sell, 61, of Catasauqua, died in her home June 10, 2013. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Eleanor (Stoudt) Knappenberger.
She was employed by the County of Lehigh for the past 35 years.
She is survived by a son, Jason C. Correll; daughter, Melissa Sell; grandchildren, Sabrina, Delano, Arianna and Gionni.

William Howard Hansell Jr., of Lower Macungie Township, died June 4, 2013.
With heavy hearts but beautiful memories of a life well lived, the family mourn the passing of their husband, father, brother, grandfather, colleague and friend who passed peacefully into the loving arms of his Savior after a brief but courageous battle with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. He was the husband of Concetta "Connie" (Raiti) Hansell. They were married for 51 years. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Alice and Bill Hansell.
Mary T. Zabrecky, 91, formerly of Bethlehem, most recently of Emmaus Village, died June 9, 2013. She was the wife of the late Stephen J. Zabrecky. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Toth.
She worked for the chemical lab at Bethlehem Steel during World War II. She also worked at various silk mills, Just Born, Durkees Food and Schoenen's Market, all while dedicating herself to her family.
She was a member of the Edgeboro Women's Democratic League, where she assisted at the polls.
Richard George Kelly, 80, of Denton, Texas, formerly of Macungie, died peacefully June 4, 2013, at Emerus Hospital, in the compassionate care of Hospice and surrounded by the love of his family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Jerian Gelbert Kelly. They would have celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary June 27. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Paul Ishmael Kelly and Helen Estelle Goldman Kelly.
He graduated from Moravian College, Bethlehem, on a full scholarship.
