Carl V. "Pat" Lamm, 80, of Alburtis, formerly of Scranton, died January 8, 2013, in Lehigh Center. He was the husband of Elizabeth R. (Green) Lamm. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Carl B. and Esther (Rafferty) Lamm.

He worked as a circulation manager for several newspapers.

He honorably served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife; brother, John; sisters, Dolores Comerota and Shirley George; grandchildren, Ethan and Larissa. He was predeceased by a daughter, Heidi Buck.

Isabel S. Fowler, 96, of Macungie, died January 8, 2013, at VNA Hospice at St. Luke's Hospital. Born in Emmaus, she was a daughter of the late George Franklin and Carrie (Schlegel) Carter.

She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Emmaus.

She is survived by a daughter, Louise F. McEllroy, of Allentown; son, James C., of Macungie; sisters, Jessetine Carter, Jessie Hieter; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Thomas; siblings, Clariss Nicholas, Jennifer Carter.

Albert Eugene "Barney" Charron, 91, of Emmaus, died January 8, 2013, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, after a brief illness. He was the husband of LaMae E. (Schaffer) Charron. They were married for 44 years. Born in Plainfield Township, Northampton County, he was the son of the late Albert E. and Susanna I. (Deibler) Charron.

He was the proprietor and president of Barney's Diner Inc., in Emmaus for 30 years, retiring in 1986.

During World War II, he was stationed in England where he proudly served in the U.S. Army Air Corps.

Miriam G. Trexler

Miriam G. Trexler, 93, of Bethlehem, formerly of Emmaus, died January 12, 2013, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, where she was a patient since November. Born in Longswamp Township, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Howard T. and Essie M. (Gambler) Keiser.

She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Bowers.

She worked as a sewing machine operator at several Allentown and Emmaus clothing manufacturers until her retirement.

Orville G. Hawk, 95, of Luther Crest, South Whitehall Township, formerly of Emmaus, died January 3, 2013, in Luther Crest Health Center. He was the husband of the late Marguerite H. (Minnich). Born in Weissport, he was a son of the late Walter C. and Martha (Smith) Hawk.

A 1935 graduate of Allentown High School, he was also a graduate of the American Institute of Banking. Employed at First National Bank of Allentown since 1935, he began as a messenger and proof clerk and retired as its chairman of the board in 1982.

Geraldine (Zimmerman) Kranch Moyer Wenner, 82, of Luther Crest died January 10, 2013, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Ezra A. Wenner Jr. They were married in 2004. She was married to Robert H. Moyer from 1993 to 2000 and Arnold P. Kranch 1949 to 1978. Born in Kutztown, she was a daughter of the late Royce G. Zimmerman Sr. and Marion M. (Schrader) Zimmerman.

She graduated with honors from Allentown High School, 1948. She served on the Class of 1948 reunion committee.

Robert L. Lindenmuth

Robert L. Lindenmuth, 91, of Emmaus, died January 13, 2013, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of the late Bette G. (Minnich) Lindenmuth.

He was a truck driver for Modern Transfer for 25 years, retiring in 1983. Previously, he worked for Reading Railroad for many years. After retiring, he worked part time at John Monahan Real Estate and Weis Markets.

He was a World War II veteran and served as a sergeant with the U.S. Army.

He was passionate about golf and was still active in his pool league.

He was a member of Zion Lehigh Lutheran Church, Alburtis.

He is survived by brothers, Gerald G. and his wife Roxann E. (O'Brien), of Alburtis, and Ronald R. and his wife Paulette E. (Fenstermaker), of Fogelsville; sister-in-law, Carol S. (Conrad), wife of the late Paul K., of Promised Land.

Bartholo-mew, 96, formerly of Emmaus, a lifelong educator who served as the first executive director of the Carbon-Lehigh Intermediate Unit and as a leader in the planning and formation of the Lehigh County Vocational Technical School and the Lehigh/Carbon Community College, died January 4, 2013, at Luther Crest Retirement Community in Allentown. He was the husband of the late Carrie (Paules) Bartholomew. He was born in West Catasauqua.
