Joy E. Hendricks, 87, of Macungie, died November 5, 2012, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Robert C. Hendricks. Born in Sellersville, she was the daughter of the late Roswell Roth and Pauline (Nase) Myers.
She is survived by sons, Steven R. and his wife Diane of Macungie, John A. of Macungie; brother, Charles Myers; two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson, Robert.
Services are private. Arrangements were made by the David J. Boyko Funeral Home, Macungie.
Jerome J. "J.J." Tyson, 38, of New Tripoli, died suddenly Nov. 3, 2012, shortly after admission to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, where he was taken after a work accident in Lehigh County.
He and his wife, Melissa M. (Baus) Tyson, were married May 2, 1998.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Randall A. Tyson of Ringtown, Schuylkill County, and Eileen K. Reiss of Whitehall.
A Lutheran, he attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Mertztown.
He was the owner and operator of J.T.'s Home Maintenance & Remodeling, New Tripoli for more than six years.
Ernest S. "Smokey" Brensinger, 74, of Old Zionsville, died November 9, 2012, in his home. He was the husband of Darlene L. (Ruppert) Gilbert Brensinger. The couple celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary last August 22. Born in Longswamp Township, Berks County, he was the son of the late Amandus M. and Arline (Roth) Brensinger.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during a peacetime era.
George Ferdinand John Heimberger, 86, died October 23, 2012, in Lexington, N.C. He was the husband of Shirley Ann Hoffman Heimberger. They were married for 55 years. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of George Ludwig Heimberger and "Phoebe" (Phillipine) Katharina Welz Heimberger.
Theodore A. Brent, 59, of Zionsville, died November 6, 2012, as a result of a motor vehicle accident. He was the husband of Linda A. (Persa) Brent. They celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary in August, 2012. Born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, he was the son of Bruce and Eda (Switzer) Brent of Apalachin, N.Y.
Joshua B. Smith, 27, of Salisbury Township, died November 5, 2012. He was the son of Brian E. and Nancy K. (Laible) Smith of Salisbury Township.
He was a graduate of Salisbury High School where he co-captained the soccer team.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for eight years until being honorably discharged. He served in Afghanistan during "Operation Enduring Freedom." He was a color guard sergeant at Camp Pendleton, Calif.
He will be missed dearly by many friends and family.
Edwin G. Werley of Emmaus, died November 2, 2012, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Margaret Werley.
He is survived by his wife; sons, Michael and his wife Judy of Fredericksburg, Va., Anthony and his wife Elizabeth of Westport, Conn., and J. Scott and his wife Patricia of Wilmington, Del.; four grandchildren.
Services are private. Arrangements were made by the Robert C. Weir Funeral Home, Allentown.
Edith R. Brensinger, 83, of Lower Macungie Township, died Nov-ember 6, 2012, in her home. She was the wife of Maynard L. Brensinger. Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Myrtle (Hersh) Reehl.
She worked as a machine setter for the former Western Electric for 35 years, retiring in 1981.
She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Wescosville.
She is survived by her husband; nieces; nephews.

Dexter F. Baker, 85, former Chairman and CEO of Air Products and Chemicals died November 1, 2012, in Houston, Texas, after an illness. He was the husband of Dorothy Baker. They were married for 61 years.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering, a Master of Business Administration and Honorary Doctor of Engineering degrees from Lehigh University. In 1952 he joined Air Products and Chemicals in its formative years. He moved to London with his young family and built their international division.
Nathan E. Heilman, 82, of Macungie, died peacefully in his home November 3, 2012, with his wife of 61 years, Joyce (Kromer) Heilman, by his side. Born in Lehighton, he was a son of the late Nathan and Edna (Steigerwalt) Heilman.
He was a member of Locust Valley Chapel, Coopersburg, where he formerly served as a deacon and trustee.
He was an avid outdoorsman and love to work with his hands.
