Rowan Hobson, a junior at Emmaus High School, was sworn in as a Junior Emmaus Borough Council member at the Oct. 15 meeting.

Couple celebrates 60 years

Edward and Catherine Mrowka of Northampton recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

The couple was married in Shamokin June 14, 1952.
