Kyra MaloneQ. In what grade are you currently enrolled?
A. I am currently enrolled in 12th grade at Emmaus High School.
Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?
A. My favorite subject this year is AP Psychology because it is challenging and unique compared to my other classes. I think that the subject matter is intriguing and I often find myself looking further into the topics that we learn about in class. In addition, my teacher Mrs. Walsh knows a lot about psychology and always makes class interesting.

Thursday, August 24, 2017 by BEVERLY SPRINGER in Local News
A movement has begun in Emmaus and it’s on the rocks.
As a community building and goodwill spreading activity, folks are painting small rocks and hiding them throughout the borough.
Any group or individual may participate, and the rules are few.
Find a rock, paint it and place the rock where someone else may discover it. Painters and finders are encouraged to post pictures of their rock creations or discoveries on the Emmaus Rocks Facebook page.

A recent pine cone experiment project combined class activities with Emmaus borough beautification.
Students created pine cone experiment kits which they sold to friends, family and other students. The project required the children study trees as well as construct and operate a school store. The store was built using cardboard boxes.

Declan SchoenQ. In what grade are you?
A. I am a 2017 graduate of Emmaus High School.
Q. What was your favorite subject? Why?
A. I don’t know if I could pick just one. My two favorites, however, were probably physics and art. I really like how physics uses both logic and mathematics to solve real world problems in an almost intuitive way. As for art, I have always enjoyed expressing myself creatively through visual art and I have recently developed a strong passion for photography, which I explored through my AP Studio Art class.
