Q. In what grade are you?

A. I am a 2017 graduate of Emmaus High School.

Q. What was your favorite subject? Why?

A. My favorite subject was science, preferably biology. I’m mostly interested in the human body aspect of it and I am looking to major in biology at college.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A. I’ve received multiple awards for field hockey.

A. I am a 2017 graduate of Emmaus High School.

Q. What was your favorite subject? Why?

A. My favorite subject was anatomy because I’ve always loved science and I like learning about how the body works.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A. I’m a member of National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society and was on Principal’s Honor Roll most of my high school career.

Emmaus Flag Day celebration unites community

Emmaus residents and friends celebrated Flag Day with music, poetry, essays and special recognitions June 14 at Emmaus Community Park. Thanks to the efforts of the Emmaus Woman’s Club of Emmaus Flag Day Committee co-chairs Pat Stasko and Pat Waller, attendees were unified in an appreciation of the history and values embodied by the American flag.

The program opened with an invocation by Monsignor Edward Coyle, pastor of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, Emmaus.

Participants recited the Pledge of Allegiance and Christine Castiello sang “The Star Spangled Banner.”

Q. In what grade are you?

A. I am a 2017 graduate of Emmaus High School.

Q. What was your favorite subject? Why?

A. My favorite subject would have to be anatomy, I absolutely love science and it’s what I plan to pursue in the future.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A. For lacrosse, I was first team all EPC 2016 and second team 2017, I earned honor roll throughout my four years and am a member of Spanish Honor Society.

Q. In what grade are you?

A. I have finalized my senior year at Emmaus High School.

Q. What was your favorite subject? Why?

A. My favorite subject was physics. This year I was fortunate enough to have Mr. Brent Ohl as a teacher. He was able to make the material exciting and fun to learn, something I am very grateful for. I also thoroughly enjoy math. My physics course allowed me to apply the mathematical techniques I’ve learned throughout high school to real life scenarios.

A. I am in 12th grade at Emmaus High School.

Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?

A. My favorite subject is science. I love learning about how the Earth functions and I believe it is important for everyone to understand the inner workings of the planet they inhabit. Earth is our only home and humans must educate themselves to ensure the future of life on the planet.

A. I am a senior in Emmaus High School.

A. I really enjoy journalism and English subjects in general because they involve a lot of writing and reading, which are both things I often do in my free time. Basically, they’re subjects that extend my hobbies into my school life.

A. I am currently a senior at Emmaus High School

Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?

A. My favorite subject is math specifically calculus. It fascinates me to see the practical applications of new topics we learn and relate them to other classes I’m taking including economics, statistics and computer science.
