Ben has been working on Boy Scout merit badges. One evening he was putting in some required time on personal management and we had a family discussion about what constituted a major purchase. That led to a conversation on budgeting. Ben was anxious to fill in some items on his worksheet and move on to video games. So when Matt launched into a story about our budgeting experiences, Ben commented, “Well, there goes another 10 minutes.”
