Janice L. Ritter, 85, of Allentown, died Jan. 31, 2019, surrounded by her family at Whitehall Manor. She was the wife of the late Robert R. Ritter Sr. who died in March. They celebrated 63 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Morris and Dorothy (Eck) Wentling and a graduate of Allentown High School.

She owned and operated the snack bar at Parkway Lanes, Allentown, for many years. Previously, she managed the snack bar at the former Woolworths at the Parkway Shopping Center, Allentown and worked in the clerical department of Blue Cross Blue Shield, Allentown.

She was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Lutheran Church, Allentown.

She loved to bake and share her creations with her family. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. An avid card player, she always looked forward to seeing the girls at the Wednesday card party. She treasured her family.

She is survived by children, Robert R. Jr. and his wife Susan, of Macungie, Susan L. and her husband Donald Didra, of Allentown, Craig A. and his wife Kathy, of Nazareth, Brian M. and his wife Colleen, of Coopersburg; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
