Ruth E. (Pyle) Stoudt
Ruth E. Stoudt, 97, of Washington, N.J., formerly of Zionsville, died May 28, 2018, in her daughter’s residence. She was the wife of the late Herman J. Stoudt Sr. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Emily M. (Mebus) Pyle.
She was a seamstress for Rems and R & F Dress Factory, Macungie, retiring in 1977.
She was a member of Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and attended Washington United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Washington United Methodist Women.
She was a member of Lower Lehigh Lions Club, Vera Cruz Senior Citizens and a former member of the Delaware Valley Dalmatian Club.
She is survived by daughters, Edna and her husband William Schlott, of Schnecksville, Sandra and her husband Kenneth Stufflet, of Allentown, Carol and her husband Donald Bloch, of Washington, N.J. and Darlene and her husband Jeffrey Brosky, of Zionsville; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson. She was predeceased by sons, Herman J. Stoudt Jr. and James R. Stoudt; daughter, Eileen Wiley; sisters, Ruby Pedrick, Catherine Heimbach and Geraldine Mulford; grandson, Joseph Wiley.
