Lillian R. Rodberg
Lillian R. Rodberg, 81, of Allentown, formerly of Emmaus, died March 21, 2018, at Westminster Village, Allentown. She was the daughter of the late Katherine and Henry Rodberg, of Woodbury and Avalon, N.J.
From her arrival in the Lehigh Valley from the Woodbury, N.J., area in 1980 until her retirement in 2009, she was founder and principal of The Manuscript Doctors editing and indexing service and a board-certified editor in the life sciences.
She published books and articles on Libertarian politics and garden design and is the author of a trilogy of historical novels based in the New Jersey Pine Barrens during and after the American Revolution.
She is survived by a son, C. Stephen Boehme, of Peebles, Ohio; daughters, Kathleen A. Frank, of University Park, Fla. and Kirsten Y. Boehme, of Charlotte, N.C.; grandsons, Geoffrey Stephen Boehme and Stephen James Boehme.

A private memorial service will be held. Arrangements were made by the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., Allentown.
