Vera Cruz egg hunt March 31

Upper Milford Supervisors are looking for an emergency management coordinator, but no one appears to want the job.

The job is currently being done by Emergency Management Deputy Jim Krippe, but according to Township Manager Bud Carter speaking after the March 15 meeting, no one has applied for the top job.

Supervisor Daniel Mohr announced the Vera Cruz Community Association will host an Easter egg hunt 1 p.m. March 31 at Mystic Chain Park.

In an unusually short meeting, supervisors signed checks for bills and for payroll and approved a recommendation to hire two part-time park caretakers for the summer.

Supervisors also approved a bid from RAM Siding to replace the roof on the public works garage for $59,850.
