of Allentown

Russel N. Druckenmiller, 88, of Allentown, died Feb. 22, 2018, at home. He was the husband of the late Josephine (David) Druckenmiller. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Harry and Helen (Harwick) Druckenmiller.

Before retiring in the 1990’s, he worked for many years in the composing room of The Morning Call.

He was an avid reader, played all sports including for the Allentown Patriots Old Timers Softball Team and enjoyed watching the Phillies and his Eagles team recently win the Super Bowl.

He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the Howard L. Peter A.M.L. Post #576, Allentown. He was also a member of the Mercantile Club, Emmaus.

He is survived by a son, Richard and his wife Audrey, of Zionsville; daughters Donna, wife of the late Mitchell Hunter, of Effort, Ginny Stilo and her partner Brenda Fritzinger, of Allentown; three granddaughters Heather, Jamie and Lena; great-grandchildren Dakotah, Cayden, Avery, Shane, Addisyn and Jane. He was predeceased by brothers and sisters.
