Brian K. Arndt
Brian K. Arndt, 55, of Alburtis, died Feb. 15, 2018, at home. He was the husband of Melody S. (Fogel) Arndt, to whom he was married nearly 34 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Evelyn M. (Schantz) Arndt, of Vera Cruz and the late Kenneth E. Arndt.
For 31 years he worked as a machine operator for Bloomer Chocolate Company, East Greenville.
He was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd, Alburtis, where he served in the senior choir, was a Sunday school teacher and enjoyed being the mastermind behind Vacation Bible School props.
He is survived by his wife; mother; sons, Zachary D. and Nathan W., both at home; brother, Gary and his wife Dina; sisters, Cynthia and her husband John Hartzell and Renea and her husband Todd Flexer; four nephews and two nieces. He was predeceased by an infant son, Daniel Brian.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the church, 18011.
Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Feb. 22 at Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Quarry Road, Alburtis. Calling will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 21 at the Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Road, Breinigsville and beginning 9:30 a.m. Feb. 22 at the church. Burial to follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
