Seeking singers, those who play an instrument

Lehigh Valley Active Life, 1633 W. Elm St., Allentown, has opportunities for residents who like to sing or play a musical instrument.

The “Good Vibrations” Chorus, led by Nancy Shumaker, invites all singers to have fun and make some new friends, 9:30 to 11 a.m. Feb. 5, 12, 19 and 26.

“Latin Salsa Band,” led by Hector Rosado, is looking for musicians to join this newly formed band, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Feb. 6, 13, 20 and 27. Bring your instrument.

“Lehigh Valley Pops Orchestra,” directed by George Fennell, invites anyone who is interested and knows how to play an instrument to join them for rehearsals 9 to 10:30 a.m. Feb. 1, 8, 15 and 22. The orchestra performs at a number of sites throughout the Lehigh Valley.

“Elm Street Jazz” workshop led by Allan Meyerson 9 to 11 a.m. Feb 2, 9, 16 and 23. The jazz band is designed to bring out the creativity in music through improvisation. If you play an instrument and want to explore jazz, join them.
