Duggan plays Bach

Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra presents its “Winter Vivaldi” concert with Father Seán Brett Duggan, pianist, for Johann Sebastian Bach’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in E Major, BWV 1051, at 3 p.m. Jan. 28, Wesley Church, 2540 Center St., Bethlehem.

Sinfonia principal trumpeter Lawrence Wright is featured in Concerto in D for Trumpet, TWV 43: D7, by Georg Telemann. The ensemble performs Trio Sonata No. 2 in G minor for Two Oboes, Bassoon and Continuo, by Jan Dismas Zelenka, a Czech Baroque composer and contemporary of J. S. Bach. The program opens with Antonio Vivaldi’s Concerto for Strings in E minor, RV 157.

There’s a post-concert reception with the musicians.
