Robbery

Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville are looking for witnesses to a robbery at a gas station in Lower Macungie Township in which three females were robbed by an armed man Jan. 17.

Authorities described the incident in a media release: A suspect entered a vehicle occupied by three females who had just finished refueling at the Speedway gas station, 5640 Hamilton Blvd., 9:28 a.m. The man, described as a 25-35 year old white male, displayed a knife and a handgun and demanded the women drive him into Allentown, according to police. The suspect took money from the women and forced one woman to withdraw money from an ATM before he fled from their vehicle.

Surveillance footage showed the suspect loitering near the front of the gas station for an extended period of time prior to entering the vehicle occupied by the women. Prior to this incident, numerous other patrons were observed stopping in the area where the man was standing in order to enter the gas station.

The man was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black hooded jacket and a black scarf of other lower face covering.

Anyone having seen the man at Speedway or with information concerning the incident may contact Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville at 610-395-1438.
