Marine veterans celebrate the 242nd birthday of the Marine Corps

On a chilly afternoon recently, active duty and Marine veterans gathered at the Marine Corps Monument at Cedar Beach Park, Allentown, to celebrate the 242nd birthday of the Marine Corps.

On hand were Marines stationed at the Marine Corps reserve center on Airport Road as well as members of the Marine Corps Leagues of Allentown and Bethlehem.
