Linda E. Hinkel, 70, of Emmaus, died Jan. 12, 2018, at home. She was the wife of David A. Hinkel, to whom she was married for almost 50 years. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Norman R. and Arlene E. (Bauder) Bruch.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Milford Branch.

Before retiring in 2007, she worked for Mack Trucks, starting as a key punch and lastly in the accounting department.

She enjoyed crocheting and sewing.

She is survived by her husband; sons, Scott D., of Emmaus, Steven M., of Titusville, Fla., Matthew J. and his wife Erin, of East Texas; daughters, Susan G. and her husband David Staus, of Mohrsville, Sharon L. and her husband Jonathan Kile, of Reading; sister, Noreen L. and her husband Robert Wade, of Gainesville, Va.; nine grandchildren.

Arrangements were made by the Schmoyer Funeral Home, Breinigsville.
