Jacob S. “Jake” Diehl, 33, formerly of Emmaus, died Jan. 3, 2018, at Hahnemann University Hospital, Philadelphia. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Diann R. (Focht) Nonnemacher and Gerald R. Diehl Jr.

He was a member of Central Manor Church, Washington Borough, Lancaster County.

He was a graduate of Emmaus High School, Class of 2003 and was an avid sports fan.

He was involved with America’s Keswick in Whiting, N.J. and A New Life Sober Living, Lancaster. He was a loving father and a kind and gentle soul.

He is survived by his parents; children, Jayla and Riley; siblings, Matthew J. and Heather N.; paternal grandparents, Gerald Sr. and Kay (Derr); maternal grandparents, Richard and Doris (Heff) Focht; stepfather, Howie Nonnemacher; stepmother, Judy; stepbrother, Adam Iacocca; nephews, Bryce and Ryan and Zachary Foura.

Contributions may be made to benefit his daughters. Donations and checks may be made payable to Gerald Diehl and may be dropped off or mailed to the funeral home.
