Armed robbery

A male actor entered Turkey Hill Minit Market, 602 Chestnut St., stated he had a gun and demanded the clerk remove money from a cash register in an incident Jan. 1, according to police.

A 16-year-year-old male, of Emmaus, was arrested Jan. 5 for robbery and aggravated assault with a weapon after he robbed and assaulted a person Dec. 22, 2017, in the 600 block of Green Street, according to police. The teen was transported to Lehigh County Booking Center and processed.

An 18-year-old male, of Emmaus, was arrested Dec. 22, 2017, for theft, receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a credit card after he used a bank card in an attempt to access a bank account and make an online purchase, according to police.

Justice Devlin Hoffman, 23, of Slatington, was arrested Dec. 4, 2017, for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness in the unit block of South 4th Street after allegedly creating a disturbance in the area of Triangle Park, according to police.

A 17-year-old female was arrested Dec. 19, 2017, for disorderly conduct after she created a disturbance at Emmaus High School, 500 N. Macungie St., according to police.

John J. Romeo III, 39, of Emmaus, was arrested Dec. 24, 2017, for disorderly conduct after he allegedly failed to turn down loud music after repeated complaints were received, according to police.

A 17-year-old female was arrested Jan. 2 for possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at Emmaus High School, 500 N. Macungie St., according to police.

Dylan Robert Mertl, 22, of Allentown, was arrested Dec. 22, 2017, for alleged possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and an expired registration after a traffic stop in the 500 block of Dalton St., according to police

Tyrone Guy, 34, of Allentown, was arrested Jan. 4 for alleged unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, criminal mischief and driving without a license in the 1100 block of Chestnut Street, according to police. He was transported to Lehigh County Booking Center and processed, according to police.

Keith A. Smykal, 37, of Emmaus, was arrested Jan. 8 for alleged defiant trespass after he was found on the back porch of a residence in the 800 block of Franklin Street after he was previously informed by the homeowners not to return, according to police. He was transported to Lehigh County Booking Center and processed, according to police.

An 18-year-old female, of Emmaus, was arrested for harassment Jan. 9 after she was involved in a fight in the 500 block of Dalton St., according to police.

An unknown actor cut a Christmas flag and two strands of lights at a location in the 100 block of Main Street, resulting in $61 total damage, according to police. The incident was reported Dec. 24, 2017.

An unknown vehicle struck a Dodge Ram pickup truck and caused damage to a passenger side door and the passenger side rear view mirror, according to police. The incident was reported Dec. 20, 2017, in the 300 block of Broad Street.

An unknown vehicle sideswiped a Jeep, pushing it into a curb and damaging the passenger side wheel. The incident was reported Dec. 24, 2017, in the 500 block of Harrison Street.

An unknown vehicle struck the driver’s side mirror of a vehicle, causing $200 in damage, in an incident reported Dec. 26, 2017, in the 700 block of Furnace Street.

An unknown vehicle struck the front of a Mazda vehicle causing moderate damage in an incident reported Dec. 29, 2017, in the unit block of South Sixth Street.

An unknown actor entered a building in the 1300 block of Chestnut Street through a window causing $1,640 damage, according to police. The incident was reported Jan. 8.
