of Macungie

Christopher T. Bishop, 46, of Macungie, died Dec. 13, 2017. He was the fiancee of Patricia L. Trowbridge. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of Carol L. (Horning) Bishop Yocum and her husband Larry, of Macungie and the late John K. Bishop.

He was an assistant with the orthopedic surgical team at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was a graduate of Saucon Valley High School, Class of 1989 and the Sacred Heart School of Surgical Technicians. He was a certified EMT and was a volunteer fireman with the Steel City and Leithsville fire departments.

He was an avid reader, enjoyed snowmobiling, canoeing, hiking and riding his scooter along side the love of his life. He was a passionate Eagles Fan. He was truly one of the most dedicated lacrosse “Moms” and enjoyed every opportunity as assistant coach.

He is survived by his fiancee; mother; children, Derek J., Chloe P. and Sophie A. Trowbridge, all at home; brother, John K. Jr. and his wife Kimberly, of Collinsville, Okla.; nieces and nephews; countless brothers and sisters throughout the LVHN.
