Students at Lower Macungie Middle School celebrate the start of Thanksgiving break with the annual Turkey Trot walk and race event Nov. 22. Students could opt to walk or run the course. Walkers did the one-mile loop once while runners completed two laps. The event is open to students and teachers, Rhett Fisher, an event organizer and computer teacher at LMMS, said.
