Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network has announced three new members to its Board of Trustees as well as a new board chair.

The Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America elected Polly Beste, David Fessler and Thomas J. Lynch to three-year terms.

Gary Schmidt, MA, has been named the chair of Good Shepherd’s Board of Trustees. Schmidt succeeds David DeCampli, whose term has ended. Schmidt is a Human Resource business leader for Mondelēz International, for which he has worked since 1989.

Beste is the founder and chairperson emeritus of Equi-librium, a therapeutic horsemanship program.

Fessler is the energy, infrastructure and technology expert for The Oxford Club and managing editor of “Advanced Energy Strategist,” the organization’s research service.

Lynch is vice president and chief human resources officer for PPL.

Good Shepherd is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and the Synod elects two-thirds of the trustees to the Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network Board.
