Simple assault

Luis Manuel Disla, 41, of Emmaus, was arrested July 17 on charges of suspicion of simple assault and harassment in the 600 block of Furnace Street after a domestic dispute. He was transported to Lehigh County Booking Center for processing. Charges were filed, according to court records.

An unknown actor removed a Jett mountain bicycle from the rear of a residence in the unit block of North Sixth Street. The incident was reported July 26. The bicycle is valued at $900.

An actor removed a wristlet purse from a vehicle parked at the Emmaus Community Park, 1401 Shimerville Road. The incident was reported July 20.

Actors spray painted basketball courts, bleachers, garbage cans and net posts at Williams Street Park, 67 Ridge St., resulting in $200 damage. The incident was reported July 22.

Actors marked a Dumpster and a garbage bucket with a permanent marker at the Emmaus Community Park, 1401 Shimerville Road, The incident was reported July 25.

A resident in the 500 block of East Greenleaf Street reported a rock was thrown at a pool causing damage estimated at $500. The incident was reported July 21.

A white van or bus struck the left side of a Ford Escort passenger vehicle and damaged the driver side mirror and door. The incident was reported July 18 at Fifth and Minor streets.

A white Toyota Tundra pickup truck was struck by a small dark colored sport utility vehicle operated by a white male, damaging the right side of the vehicle. The incident happened at the intersection of 10th and Chestnut streets July 20.

An unknown vehicle struck the front driver’s side of a Honda Civic in the 100 block of Main Street. The incident was reported July 29.

An unknown vehicle struck the driver’s side front corner of a Subaru parked at South Sixth and Chestnut streets. The incident was reported July 21.
