of Macungie

Lois V. "Ginny" Klinger, 92, of Macun-gie, formerly of Whitehall, died January 18, 2013, at home She was the wife of the late Charles D. Klinger. Born in Kingston, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Archibald and Dorothy (Dana) Leighton.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Allentown.

She is survived by daughters, Nancy J., of Macungie, Lois J. and her husband Robert Kunkle, of Cherryville, Charlotte and her husband Harold Albright, of Macungie, Kathryn M. and her husband Edward McCartan, of Allentown and Dorothy "Liz" Ulaner, of North Catasauqua; son, Charles L. of Middletown; brother, Charles Russell Leighton, of Alvin, Texas; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Diane Diehl; brother, Robert D. Leighton; sister, Betty Shutt.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market St., Suite 102, Philadelphia, 19106.

A celebration of her life will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, in the Chapel at Laureldale Cemetery, 4631 Pottsville Pike, Reading. Call 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel. Arrangements were made by the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, Allentown.
