CCHS to hold fall open house

Central Catholic High School will hold two fall open houses 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 21 and Nov. 11 in Mason Auditorium. All prospective students and their families are welcome to learn more about the school by participating in panel discussions and student led tours. For more information and to register for the event, visit the school's website at acchs.info.

The CCHS football team suffered a tough loss to Easton last Friday. Led by new head coach, John Cupples, and senior captains Anthony Lynch, Colin McDermott, Anthony Beck and Andrew Englebert, the team hopes to regroup for their upcoming game at Northampton 7 p.m. Sept. 28.

CCHS is looking for students to volunteer at Holy Family Manor this fall. Students will have an opportunity to interact with the residents of this manor and meet their service hour requirements (five hours for freshmen, 10 hours for sophomores, 15 hours for juniors and 20 hours for seniors). For more information and to register to volunteer, visit acchs.info.

The Central Catholic student handbook and dress code PowerPoint are now available online. Multiple new disciplinary rules discussed by the discipline reveiw committee have been implemented for the 2012-13 school year.

For a complete list of the new rules and to access the student handbook, please visit the section labeled "Student Life" on the school's website.
