Electronic collection day

Lehigh County will offer free "anything with a plug" recycling events at three locations 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 22.

Recycling locations include: Lehigh Carbon Community College, 4525 Education Park Dr., Schnecksville; Olympus Corporate Headquarters, 3500 Corporate Parkway, Center Valley; and Lowe's Home Improvement, 1235 Martin Court; Bethlehem.

All types of electronics will be accepted free of charge, including computers, monitors, printers, air-conditioners, computer accessories and household appliances. In addition to individuals and families, small businesses with less than 50 employees are also welcome to bring their obsolete electronic equipment.

All material collected will be responsibly recycled by eForce Compliance, who maintains a zero landfill policy and zero export of hazardous e-waste to developing countries.
