Young Abby Zukowski, of Emmaus, holds a poster book she made at home in honor of the World Trade Center heroes of Sept 11, 2001. Even though she was not yet born, that event is closely tied to her heritage. Abby's Mom, Lisa, and dad, Chris, were among the on-duty medical staff at St. Vincent's Hospital in New York City when burn victims from the World Trade Center started arriving for treatment.
