Lehigh Valley Zoo featured on 'The Browne Report'
A recent visit and tour of the Lehigh Valley Zoo, in Schnecksville, by Senator Pat Browne, R-16th, is featured during this month's installment of "The Browne Report" television show.
Browne was afforded the opportunity to see everything the Lehigh Valley Zoo has to offer for people of all ages as he took a walking tour through the zoo.
Led by Richard Molchany, president and CEO of the Lehigh Valley Zoo, Browne learned about the history of the zoo, which started as the Trexler Game Preserve back in 1906, as well as the changes and advancements the zoo has made over the years.
"The Lehigh Valley Zoo is a wonderful cultural and entertainment asset to the Lehigh Valley region," Browne said. "I appreciate Rick taking the time to walk us through the exhibits and show us the tremendous progress the zoo has made over the years. The Lehigh Valley Zoo provides not only entertainment, but also a learning experience with many educational programs."
The Browne Report can be seen locally on Blue Ridge Communications, Channel 13, 9 a.m. every Monday; RCN, Channel 4, 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. Aug. 27 and 10 a.m. Aug. 31; and, Service Electric Cable, Channel 50, 10 p.m. Sept. 3.
