Kermit K. Gehman, 93, of Whitehall, formerly of Emmaus, died August 7, 2012, in Fellowship Manor. He was the husband of the late Joyce (Leibert) Gehman. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late William A. and Florence (Yost) Gehman.

He was the secretary-treasurer of the former Wm. A. Gehman Sons Chrysler Plymouth.

He was a member of Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, Allentown. Throughout his life he served and contributioned to many business, charitable and Christian boards including Bible Fellowship Board of Missions, the former Merchants Bank, N.A., Lehigh County Agricultural Society, The Leonard Pool Society, Pinebrook Bible Conference, Victory Valley Camp and Word of Life International.

He is survived by sons, Larry K. and his wife Suzanne of Brownsburg, Ind., K. Kirk and his wife Inga of Arlington, Texas, Kevin K. and his wife Tammy of Emmaus; sister, Betty Rapp of Whitehall; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Marlene.

Private services and interment have been held. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C, Emmaus, handled the arrangements.

Kermit's influence and involvement was felt around the world.
