DUI

Ryan Spear, 40, of Easton, was arrested for DUI on Kings Highway approximately .25 miles south of Beck Road, Upper Milford Township, 10:18 p.m. July 20. Spear was allegedly under the influence when his vehicle impacted a utility pole. The pole had a split in it and was laying in the northbound lane as a result of the accident.

Jose Contreras, 18, of Allentown, was arrested for DUI on Interstate 78 eastbound at exit 57, Allentown, 1:04 p.m. July 29. Contreras was allegedly found to be under the influence during a traffic stop.

Underage drinking

Kevin Kabiru, 19, of Macungie, was cited for underage drinking in the 2000 block of Willow Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 2:53 a.m. Aug. 2. Kabiru was observed walking through front yards along Willow Lane and was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol.

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Two 17-year-old females were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on Golden Rod Lane and Periwinkle Drive, Lower Macungie Township, Aug. 1. Drug paraphernalia was recovered from the location and allegedly traced back to the two juvenile females.

False identification to law enforcement

Cheryl Hyman, 52, of Allentown, was arrested for false identification to law enforcement on Route 222 at Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:57 p.m. July 28.

Access device fraud

An unknown actor stole a Lower Macungie resident's credit card information and made several unauthorized purchases June 12 and 14.

Burglary

An unknown actor entered a residence in the 3700 block of Knight Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between 7 a.m. July 2 and 3 p.m. July 7. The actor stole two LED televisions, a Wii game console with four games and approximately $5,000 worth of jewelry.

An unknown actor attempted to break into a home in the 6600 block of Granville Road, Upper Milford Township, 1:30 a.m. July 7. The actor attempted to break in through the basement door of the residence and fled after activating the security alarm. The victim saw a 1990s Chevrolet Caprice or similar model fleeing the driveway.

An unknown actor forced entry into a shed in the 1200 block of Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, between 11 p.m. July 16 and 2:15 a.m. July 19. The actor moved items around but it is not known if any property was stolen.

An unknown actor forced entry into a building shared by Attractions Hair Salon and Rita's Italian Ice in the 5600 block of Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 3:20 a.m. June 26. The actor stole an AT&T cordless phone.

Theft

An unknown actor stole 19 used tires from Becker Subaru, 4611 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 4:42 p.m. July 17. The actor threw the tires into a pickup truck bed and fled the scene.

An unknown actor stole a drain cover, valued at $200, from the area of 1539 Kaitlyn Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between 6 p.m. July 24 and 11:15 a.m. July 25.

Found cell phone

A cell phone was found near the Vera Cruz Tavern in the area of Main Road West and Vera Cruz Road, Upper Milford Township, July 16. Any person who lost a phone in the area within the last two months should contact Trooper Hayes at 610-395-1438.

Retail theft

A 17-year-old female, of Allentown, was charged with retail theft at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:36 p.m. July 19. The actor allegedly attempted to conceal $5 worth of merchandise in her purse.

Maribel Guerrero, 18, of Macungie, was charged with retail theft at Kohl's, 6900 Hamilton Blvd., 4:55 p.m. July 19. Guerrero allegedly attempted to steal $60 worth of merchandise.

A 16-year-old female and two 14-year-old females were charged with retail theft at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:35 p.m. July 20. The group allegedly attempted to steal $68.83 worth of merchandise. The 16-year-old was also allegedly found to be in possession of two marijuana pipes and was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

A 17-year-old, of Allentown, and a 16-year-old, of Coplay, were charged with retail theft at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:22 p.m. July 22. The actors allegedly attempted to steal $51.08 worth of merchandise.

Maribel Guerrero, 18, of Macungie, was charged with retail theft at Kohl's, 6900 Hamilton Blvd., 4:55 p.m. July 19.

Scattering rubish

An unknown actor dumped garbage in the intersection of Seip Road and Furnace Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 12:15 p.m. July 27. The property is owned by Jaindl Farms.
